I fell in love with photography as a child and actually entered my first art contest when I was in elementary school. It was a picture of our pet horse standing in the snow in our backyard. Yes, as you guessed I was not born in Gilbert, but did grow up in Northern Arizona. When I started to get serious about photography my Dad taught me to use his old film camera. When I got really serious, I decided to major in advertising and minor in photography at NAU.  This degree was not only fun, but incredibly helpful in my career path as an account manager and now as a photographer.
